To carry out our responsibilities, we rely on you to report repairs to us as soon as you notice them. Costly repairs can be needed when repairs are not attended to quickly – CHISEL may not be aware of any problem unless you tell us.
If you notice leaking guttering and down pipes, or water pouring from an overflow, please let us know even if you are not directly affected. Let us know if repairs are needed to communal areas too, such as loose stair treads, broken handrails or banisters, or faulty door locks.
It is a condition of your tenancy that you allow us reasonable access to do necessary repairs or inspect the property. We will try to give at least 24 hours notice, but this is not always possible in an emergency.

When you have reported a repair, within a few days you should receive a tenants information sheet including the order number, which will be your confirmation that the repair request has been received and is being acted upon.
If you provide us with an email address, we will send out the order by email. Otherwise the order will be posted.

Report a repair online
You can report a repair by filling out the form below and pressing ‘Submit’.
You can attach one photo (less than 3 MB). If you want to send multiple images, please attach them to an email to [email protected]. The total size of any email should not exceed 7 MB. Please put your address in the subject line.
